RotherFed, Citizens Advice Rotherham and Voluntary Action Rotherham have partnered to create a “one-stop shop” of support for residents most affected by the rising cost of living.
Experienced community engagement staff and advisers will be available to provide face-to-face guidance for people struggling with financial pressures. Regular sessions will take place in 10 libraries and at foodbanks across Rotherham, making support easily accessible within local communities.
Alongside this, a programme of free family events will run throughout the year, helping to bring people together and strengthen community connections.
The initiative focuses on building financial resilience and promoting social inclusion—empowering residents with the tools and support they need, while making the best use of local community resources. This project is supported by Rotherham Council and funded by the UK Government through the Crisis and Resilience Fund.
